Personal History
I am a 26 year old male. I have rode motocross bike recreationally since the age of about 12. In this time i have had many bikes come and go but all been a bit tatty. A couple of years ago i bought my new machine my Honda CR250R a 2002 model that needed a bit of love. I spent some money on it and tuned it up and wont lie ive never rode anything like this before and i own a superbike lol. I never thought in all my days i would be good enough to race a bike in a competitive level which soon i plucked up the courage to get registered with the AMCA back end of 2012. I have raced3 meetings in this time and was suprised at how much confidence i have as a racer and all seems to flow naturally through me. And my results were coming out better than average too to my surprise as many people who dotis sport have done from a young age or through a family member. I however never had this up bringing. My parents were and still are very anti. They dont like what i do but i have a very supportive partner and freinds that give me the support i need.
Riding Goals
My goals for this year are again im not racing till the later part of the year as i have had an operation to remove an abcess so as a result am away from riding for a few months and work the same. Cant race on an empty pocket!. I aim to finish above 10th first race back and hope to go for podium as the season draws to an end and am confident to do so.
Competitive Highlights
Highlights for me was finishing sixth overall at tilton (see results page) i finished 4th on race three though and good results in the first 2 races took me to 6th overall. Thoroughly enjoyed the meeting. Weather was awful too.
