Rider Updates
Dec 13 2016
Hello Everyone,
It's time for an end of season update. Things went pretty well this year. I upgraded my race bike from an 2008 KTM 200 to a 2010 KTM 250sx. I won the Wisconsin Cross Country Series (WIXC) B Bike class points championship for the 2016 season. This was a result of three wins and six 2nd place finishes. I worked very hard to put together such a consistent season and couldn't be happier with the results! I also raced Supermoto twice, a few motocross races and a GNCC national. I'm already beginning work on my bikes preparing for the 2017 race season. I hope to keep this momentum going and push hard to achieve the same success in the A class in 2017.
Have a great winter!

Hey everyone! It's finally spring here in the Wisconsin (well sort of). The snow is gone and racing starts this weekend already. I'm moving up to B Class this season for WIXC and am excited for the new challenge ahead. I recently picked up a 2008 KTM 144/200sx hybrid bike I'm racing this season. It feels great to be back on a 2-stroke. I've been testing / practicing with the new bike and setting it up for the WIXC Hare Scramble series I primarily race. Huge thanks to all my sponsors for the 2015 season: Ray's Cycle, Nienhaus Sales and Service, Andersin Design Graphics, EnG Performance/VP Race Fuel, One Industries, Tag Metals, Atlas Brace, Smith Optics and Torc1 Racing. Also would like to thank Acerbis, I will be putting many of their products to work on the new bike. Can't wait till the gate drops Sunday at Dyracuse. It's a fun way to start the season racing some moto before the XC season starts May 3rd!

It's been a long cold winter here in Wisconsin. Hopefully the weather will turn around soon so I can get some seat time in and racing can begin as scheduled in the beginning of April. Many things are in the works currently including new plastics and graphics on the bike, maintenance and new riding gear. Thanks to everyone for the support coming into the 2014 season! I'm more motivated than ever to keep pushing my progression and consistently put my bike in the top 5. This season my main focus will be on the WIXC (Wisconsin Cross Country Series) but I also plan to race a few WIMX motocross races, a AMA District 16 hare scramble, The Amsoil Ironman GNCC and the OMA/MXC Moose Run. I can't wait to get back on the bike! Ryan Tiedt #921 - Intensity Motorsports

Hey Everyone! Some big and positive changes have been made in the plan and direction of my riding this season. I have transitioned my focus from District 16 Motocross and Gravity Park's Dirtgrinder Series to racing Hare Scrambles with WIXC (Wisconsin Cross-Country) You can find a schedule on their website www.rpaoffroad.com. I still plan to race Motocross occasionally but it is no longer my priority this season. This past Sunday (6-2-13) I competed in my second hare scramble and placed 5th out of 24 bikes in my class. It feels great to be back to what I've always been strong in, riding woods, trails and various terrain. My years of trail experience shows in my new series and it feels great to have such a strong start. The new bike has been running amazing. I've been training hard at the gym whenever possible and plan to keep pushing and try my hardest to get the bike on the podium this season. Huge thanks to Smith Optics for their great goggles, Torc1 Racing for the awesome new grips, levers and shifter (stuff works great!) and Fox Valley Stickers Unlimited for the great stickers and support on and off the track. Thanks, Ryan Tiedt / Intensity Motorsports #921

Hey Everyone. After the long Wisconsin winter we had this year it's finally race season! Bought a new leftover 2010 KTM 250sx-f and raced it for the first time this past Sunday. Bike is pretty dialed in, the suspension has been set up. Can't wait to get out and race again this Friday. Thanks to all support last year and if your company is interested in doing a sponsorship for 2013, feel free to send me a sponsor request. Thanks, Ryan Tiedt #921

Decided to sell one of my cars and a whole bunch of parts i have been collecting for a motor swap to fund a brand new 2010 left-over Ktm 250sx-f. Hopefully everything will work out and I'll be on a fresh bike when that first gate drops. Still looking for support for the 2013 season. Let me know if your interested, any little bit can help a lot. Thanks, Ryan Tiedt 921

Hello everyone! It's still winter here in Wisconsin, but I am starting to begin planning out my 2013 race program. I am looking for sponsors for the 2013 season so if you are interested feel free to contact me. Now its time for a few updates. My 07 Ktm 450sx-f is going to get it's engine re-assembled in the next month or so. I have also been looking around for either a 250 4-stroke or 150-200-250 2-stroke. With my results getting better and better while borrowing a friends 02 yamaha 250-f at the end of last season, I feel that I can and will progress at a much faster rate this season if i step down. My main plan is to race weekly at Gravity Park's Dirtgrinder Series and try to work towards the championship. I also plan to diversify my riding a little more this year and race a few harescrambles and a few more AMA District 16 races at some other tracks I haven't ridden yet. This is my second season now so things should be a lot easier now that i know more about the sport, the tracks, bike prep and maitenence, etc. Huge Thanks to Smith Optics, Choice Hotels and Cycra Plastics for the support in 2012! Lets make 2013 even greater! Ryan Tiedt #921

hello everyone, it's time to give you all an end of the year summary of my season. At my local track (Gravity Park) in the Dirtgrinder Series I came in 7th place in points in Open C and 10th place in 14+ bike unlimited (which i only raced 4 or 5 times this season) Quite happy with the outcome after my first season, i learned a lot this season and most importantly had a great time. Made it out to a few AMA District 16 races and i hope to be at more next year or try to make every race in D16 next season. Put in some great finishes towards the end of the season on my friend Dave's 02' Yamaha 250F that i used for the last 4 or 5 races after my motor went on my 07' KTM 450Sx-f. Huge thanks to my sponsors Smith Optics for the great goggles, tears-off's and sunglasses, Choice Hotels and Cycra Plastics. Hopefully my 450sx-f will be back up and running in the next month or so. Planning on breaking the fresh motor in before winter so i can hopefully pick up some studded tires and start racing out on the ice this year. Thanks again to everyone for the help in the 2012 motocross season. Ryan Tiedt #921

Hey everyone. The Dirtgrinder Series i've been racing all season is almost coming to an end. Three races left and i'm currently in 8th place in points in Open C. Recently i ran into some bike issues and don't currently have the funds to fix it so i'm borrowing a friends 02 Yamaha 250F to finish the season. Huge thanks to Smith Optics, Cycra Plastics and Choice Hotels for the help this season. I do everything i can to promote your products on and off the track. Ryan Tiedt #921
