Rylee Randel Racing     #311  f

(District 36 #311f, AMA # 2185959)
www.facebook.com/RacerRylee07

My name is Rylee Randel. I am 6 years old and am in 1st Grade. When I’m not riding my dirt bike I enjoy playing softball, 4H, pretty much anything outside and I love school. I’m the big sister to Peyton who is 3, and brother to Seth who is 1.

Current Ride: I currently ride a 2000 Honda XR 50.  After watching Go Pro footage we realized that I had maxed out my bikes current settings and it won’t go any faster. My dad made some changes to it and I can’t wait to see the outcome. I’m hoping I will now be able to gain some speed needed to place 1st. I’m racing in Cross Country / Hare Scrambles and flat track races.

Racing Career: I started riding my dirt bike in October of 2013, but have ridden a quad since I was 3. My very first race was the Lilliputian Hare Scramble at Praire City OHV in November of 2013. It was very challenging and very scary but I did finish the race. On February 2nd I received a Certificate of Completion for attending the First Shelina Moreda Girlz Motocamp. I had a ton of fun and learned so much.  Comments from my instructors can be found below.  I attended Girlz Motocamp on 04/26/2014 and on 06/15/2014 . I plan on attending the other camps throughout the year as well.  I have so much fun and continue to learn and progress in my skills.

Currently in 1st Place in the Ladies division for Norcal Short Track Series.
Currently in 2nd  Place in the PeeWee division for Norcal Short Track Series.

My Influence: My dad has been a big part of my riding. He made me a track in our field so I can practice my riding as much as I can. I really enjoy trying to keep up with him when we are out riding together. As far as riders / racers go Shelina Moreda is my role model / mentor and someone I greatly look up to and get to spend a lot of time with as well.

Goals for the year: With this being my first full year of racing I would like to place within the top 8, and continue to build my confidence and become familiar with different riding terrain and conditions. There are 9 Cross Country / Hare Scrambles that I plan on going to this year. Next year I’m going to try out the AMP GFI series as well as supermoto. I will also continue to race cross country  / hare scrambles and dirt track / flat track racking.

Riding Goals

My riding goals are to continue practicing, gain confidence in my abilities and get faster. I"m also looking forward to attending the Girl'z MotoCamp in Petaluma this February 2014.
