Since the 2015 season was definitely not what we had wished for in a season, we are going into the 2016 season with better expectations for the year. Timmy is still concentrating on getting to Loretta's, so we are doing some training down south before the start of the year. Then hit some races before he tries a Qualifier at Sleepy Hollow in April. Well the winter around here in the North East has been long already. Nowhere to ride around here, but planning on going South to somewhere in the Carolina's to get some seat time, and training in the next few weeks before the 2015 Season starts. I am planning on doing some races in different series this year that i don't normally do, and a lot of training to prepare to try a LLQ in the 2016 season. I got moved up to the B Class this year, and plan on making the best of it. Timmy moved up to the 12-15B Class this past weekend, and rode well finishing 7th Overall in that Class. Definitely a whole new ball of wax moving into the B Class, but you have to race faster kids if you want to get faster yourself. Finished a solid 8th in the Junior Mini Class as well. There was supposed to be a 3 Moto Format at Budds Creek for the MDRA Series, and Maryland State Chamionship this weekend, but Mother Nature had other plans. Cancelled Saturday due to heavy rains all day, plus the previous night. Made it a regular 2 Moto format, and Timmy had a terrible start, and was last coming into the first turn, but worked his way up to 3rd for the first Moto, in 85 9-11C. Came out in Junior Mini and pulled an 8th. Second Moto, he got 2nd place in the 85 class for a 2nd Overall for that class. Timmy was able to keep the points lead and win that class for the Series. Can not Thank the Sponsors enough, except buying some things, which will be happening again soon Lol. There was a last minute change of Venues for the race at Rocket Raceway. So it was moved to Doublin Gap MX Park in Shippensburg Pa for the MDRA Series. Timmy had the holeshot in his 85 9-11C Class and led for 2 laps, till he dropped it in the corner. Got up and got a 4th in the first Moto. Second Moto again he took the holeshot and checked out, ended up racing the 12-15 riders, and beat them too, Lol. In Junior Mini 9-13, he was riding in 5th out of 15, and went down in the same corner as his 1st 85 Moto. And took a page out of the Movie Groundhog, and repeated the same result in the 2nd Moto. For some reason, he had in issue with that corner, Lol. Went to Miles Mountain MX Park in Elkland Pa, and Timmy had to run a Mud Race. Practice Day was beautiful, and Race Day was Rainy. Timmy came out in the first Moto and grabbed a 3rd, then 2nd Moto, grabbed the Holeshot and led for a lap but, got a little cross rutted. He was able to pull another 3rd for the 2nd moto, and a 3rd for the Overall. Pulled a couple more points ahead in the Series, two more races to go with a 13 point lead. Great Day at Pleasure Valley MX Park, in Johnstown Pa. Timmy rode well in the first Moto of 85 9-11 and got a 2nd place. Timmy is getting ready to go to GP MX Camp in Reading Pa for a week, to train with Greg Pamart at his compound. He is excited about going and trying to fine tune some things for the last 4 races of the MDRA Series. We pick him up on Friday, and head to Pleasure Valley MX Park in Johnstown Pa. Timmy is hoping to keep his points up and finish 1st in his class. Round 9 of the MDRA Series, Timmy had a bad start for the first Moto and was 4th out of the first turn. Started working his way up through the pack, and with the help of a couple riders going down, Timmy took 1st in the 1st Moto. Came out 2nd Moto also with a bad start, and could only work up to a 4th in the second Moto, ending up with a 3rd overall. Timmy raced in round 8 of the MDRA Series, and came out first Moto and pulled the Hole shot in his class and never looked back. Took 1st in 85 9-11C Class. Went out in the second Moto and just couldn't get that top spot. Got 2nd, to give a 2nd Overall for the weekend.. Timmy rode well, but knows he should have had the 1-1. Timmy had a decent weekend at Happy Ramblers MX in York, Pa. 1st Moto in 85 9-11C he got a 5th out of 12, because he got roosted with mud and had a hard time seeing. They over watered a bit, and didn't give him his roll offs. But came back 2nd Moto, and got a 2nd Place for a fourth overall. Well the 1st Moto started out awesome at Speed Citi in Delaware for the MDRA Series. Timmy was leading for the first two laps, and cross rutted in a bowl turn and went down. Got back up and battled back to 5th in 85 9-11C. 2nd Moto was 3 turns away from 2nd place, and didn't have enough speed for the one double, and cased it. Wrecked really hard, and wound up with a bad sprain to the left foot. Wound up with a 7th overall, and glad nothing was broken. Still has the Points Lead for that Class. Will regroup, and heal up for the next race June 29th at Happy ramblers in York, Pa. Round 5 was interesting at Pleasure Valley MX Park. First practice of the day Timmy stuffed it into some muck, and hit the ground hard. He was checked out at the Medical Staff and said he was good to race. Did just the 85 9-11C Class, and got a 3rd Overall for the day. And not bad considering we were not sure if he was racing at all. Timmy had a good day at Sleepy Hollow MX Park for the 4th Round of the Mainline Series. Got a 3rd in the First Moto of the 85 9-11 Class. And Pulled a 2nd in the Second Moto for a 2nd Overall. Timmy ran the 85 9-11C and had a good day for how it went. First Moto, pulled a second and ran pretty good. Second Moto went into the first step up double and got tangled up with 3 other riders. was dead last when he finally got going, and in 4Laps made it all the way up to a 3rd to keep his points lead in the MDRA. Timmy was leading the 85 9-11C class for 3 laps of the first Moto and washed out the front end in loose dirt, and wound up with a 4th. Second Moto, came out with a 2nd to get a 3rd Overall. Timmy came to Happy Ramblers MX Park ready to go, and got 5th out of 13 in the 85 9-11C Class. he wasn't extremely happy with his results, but kept it on two wheels. Finshed 17 out of 29 in the first Moto of Junior Mini, then stalled the bike on the last lap of second Moto and was not able to finish. Long Season to go and plenty of time to turn it up. Timmy showed up to the PAMX Series at Doublin Gap ready to Rock and Roll. Bad Start in the first Moto of the 85 (9-11) C, dead last at first turn, and picked his way up thru to get a 4th out of 10. Ran the Junior Mini Class and got tied up with a bunch of riders in the first jump. Got ran over a couple times, and got back up and finished the race with about a 28 out of 33. Came back second Moto and pulled off a Moto Win in the 85 class, to finish with a Second Overall. DNS the second Moto of Junior Mini because of bike problems. Had a Blast at Budds Creek racing there for the first time and Timmy Loved the track. 1st Moto for the 85- (9-11) C, Timmy was running 3rd out of 10 in his class, and wiped out in a rut. Finished with a 5th. Then was running about 14th out of about 31 and went down near the end and wound up with a 28th. Second Moto Timmy redeemed himself with a 3rd in the 85 class. He fell on a rock in the Junior Mini Class of the first Moto, and was hurting too much from running the 85 class, he DNS the second Moto.
