Personal History
I am a 36 year old Project Manager a Architecure firm in Atlanta, GA. I started riding motocross in the summer of 2006 when I could finally afford to by one. I rode a Honda 50 when I was between the ages of 5-7 after that i didnt ride until i bought my CRF 450 R. I am 6'-4" tall and weigh 190 lbs. Ever since this purchase I eat, sleep, drink moto, no lie ask my girlfriend. Anyway, I had a Track built on my fathers farm in Griffin, GA by Shane Schaeffer and have rebuilt it a copule of times with the help of Matt Walker. He uses the track to train most of his riders, so i have picked up a thing or two from him. I ride as much as I can, and started racing more and more. This year I qualified for the Southeast Regional at Gatorback and finished 27th out of 31 in the Vet B/C +30 class. I don't feel my finish position tells the whole story, I finished every lap of all 3 races and my lap times got faster each race and lap. I shaved 20 seconds off my lap time from start to finish. I race locally at Bremen Race Park and for this upcoming year will be racing as much as my schedule and bank account can allow. We all know the economy is tough but I am fortunate to be able to practice as much as I want with having my own private track. My Goal for this coming year is to race locally and qualify for Lorettas. The one thing i realized this year is that even though my class is 30+ these guys haul ass and i need to match that. In conclusion, I love this sport and will ride and race as long as my body allows and any type of help from any sponsor will help in reaching this goal.
Thank you,
