Rider Updates
Dec 29 2016
With the 2016 season behind I made my goals finishing in top 3 positions in 3 different race series! 2016 was my first year racing the AMA East National series finishing in 3rd place. My local series D6 and ECEA I also finished on the box in 3rd and missing 2nd by only 3 points. I’m looking forward to starting the race season off in South Carolina on my new KTM 250XCF racing a 4 stroke. Thank you to all the support I received in 2016 and working hard to improve my results in 2017.

We are about half way through the racing season and making some progress after sorting out some suspension issues, tire selection and a few mechanical issues. Currently we are sitting 2nd in points in both the ECEA and D6 Hare Scrambles Championship Series and 3rd in points in the AMA East Regional Series. Long way to go yet and anything can happen. With staying focused, continue training and a bit of luck we are hopeful to reach our goal of a top 3 for the 2016 season.

For the last NEOC race of the season I went out with an excellent ride finishing 2nd in the "AA" Youth class and 2nd overall out of 140 riders for the day! Conditions were very muddy in the sand woods of South Jersey and just the way I like it. My KX ran great and very happy with my day. My mid season broken collarbone took my chances of a top 3 away in the "AA" youth class but still had some really good races. Looking forward to finishing up the last 2 ECEA races and getting on the adult line in 2014!

Been running 2 different hare scramble series and racing 3 classes which include “AA” youth, Super Mini and School Boy. After my collarbone break my Dad hooked me up with a new 2013 Husqvarna WR125 for me to race in 2014. I could not wait to get out and race her so on my first race out in School Boy class I took 2nd place and 4th overall! As far as youth classes go I fell way behind in points due to the down time and my hopes of a top 3 for the year are gone. I am still hopeful for a top 4 or top 5 in the 2 series and right now sitting in 4th overall in the entire youth field. In School Boy class I’m currently 5th in class and can possibly take 4th. I know if I didn’t get hurt I was very capable of a podium finish in all 3 classes. My results have been a consistent top 4. Oh well that’s part of racing and I will continue to improve and ride stronger. This is my last year as a youth rider even though I could go another year but my KX 100 is just too small and after getting a taste of a full size bike there’s nothing like it! Looking forward to putting my Husky on the podium many times in 2014!

Back in the saddle after 6 weeks with a broken collar bone...recently pulled a 2nd place in Super Mini class at the ECEA RORR Hare Scramble and a 3rd overall out of 48 riders! I also raced School Boy class and got 2nd in class and 5th overall out of 139 plus riders! In the NEOC series which was my first race back I placed 4th in AA Youth class and 11th overall out of 96. My speed is coming back and getting stronger everyday so looking forward to some more podium finishes the rest of the season. Racing the next 2 weekends up in the mountains of NY and Pa and can't wait.

Started my season off pretty good with two podium third place finishes in the AA Youth class NEOC series. Also a podium third place in Pit Bike. Round 3 during the pit bike race I caught a tree stump and sent me over the handle bars causing me to break my collarbone! I missed the recent NEOC round 4 and 2 ECEA races. Looking to be back on the bike by June 1st if the Doctor clears me. Going to come back strong and go for a top 3 for the year.

For the 2013 season I will be running the ECEA series in School Boy class and the NEOC series “AA” class along with Pit Bike class. My first race I ran Super Mini class to get myself used to my new ride for 2013 as I have not been on a bike since October! I did pretty well with a top 10 finish 6th place in class and 8th overall out of 75. The next day I ran school boy class racing against 125 and 250’s with myself on a 100! On lap 1 I was in fourth place and right on thirds rear wheel. On my second lap I caught a rock in my chain which broke the chain in half and tore 4 teeth off my rear sprocket…I felt pretty good as I was running at the front of the pack on a 100 and sure I would have placed in the top 5. Last week was opening day in the NEOC series. I ran adult Pit Bike class and took third in class riding a stock Honda 150F against built machines. Sunday was my very first time racing the AA class and so cool to be on the front line with an open track. I had a bad start running in the back but managed to work my way through the pack lap after lap. Very happy to say I finished 3rd in class and 5th overall out of 168 riders! My KX 100 ran great and looking forward to the next race…

With the NEOC series over I wanted to ride out the last few ECEA events. I hit the BMER event in Pennsylvania last weekend. The trail was super slick with a lot of mud and water holes. I was running up front with two of my racing friends swapping postions on every lap which made for a fun race. I hit a water hole pretty bad and sucked a decent amount into my motor causing me to DNF! I still managed a 4th in class but disappointed as I was running in the top 5 overall before the bike broke. My bike is apart for fixing and looking like I will only make 1 more event in Delaware next month. Been a tough year for me but I keep a positive attitude and keep moving forward and going faster!

My 2012 racing season was filled with highs and lows. Out of the 9 event series I had 2 DNF's due to motor failure and a broken throttle cable. I also had a blown rear shock that cost me a first place at one event. I did manage to pull off 4 wins and several top 10 overall's in the youth class. For 2012 in the NEOC Championship series I earned a podium #2 finish in youth 12-13 85 class and a top 11 overall in the entire 140 plus youth riders! I also pulled off a top 10 in the Adult Pit Bike series with an 8th in class! So not that bad of a year! I'm still learning and know I can do better as my skills improve. Looking forward to moving up to a big wheel bike for 2013 and advancing to the AA Youth class!

As the NEOC Championship season comes to an end with only one race left I had a string of bad luck. My last two races I had bike trouble taking my chances of winning the championship. a broken throttle cable cause a DNF in round 7 and a dead last start in round 8 made it hard to make my way through the 30 rider field in my class. I did get a 4th place but not good enough. I'm still 2nd in points but need a strong finish in round 9 to take second for the year....wish me luck! I also raced my very first GNCC at Unadilla N.Y. I really had a great time and finished 9th in class out of 29 riders. Again I had a bad start and took a crash early on that set me back. The track was very fast so no room for era here and hard to catch back up. I'll be back next year and go for a top 3 finish!

Hit the ECEA event up in Deposit NY for the Ridge Riders hardwood hare scrambles. The weather and trail was perfect. Trail was awesome with plenty of rocks and big hill climbs and drop offs. I got 2nd in class and 6th over all out of 30 riders.

Went into this race looking for another win, halfway through the race while running up front my rear shock seal blew and had me fighting to control the bike. I still managed a strong 2nd place finish and 9th overall out of 94 riders. I'm now 8 points away from first and have to win the next three races to take the championship.

Round 5 of the NEOC series was held at the Blue Mountain Ski Resort in Pennsylvania. The event was very difficult as the coarse was routed all over the ski slopes. Very rocky with big down hills and climbs. I was mid pack off the hole shot and made it up to 4th on the first lap. By lap 2 I was in first place. I finished 8th over all out of over 100 riders. This was also race one of the Triple Crown series so off to a good start! Currently running 2nd in points and only 5 points away from first.

Round 4 of the NEOC Series took us to the mountains in upstate New York. The race was pretty tough with muddy conditions mixed with roots and rocks. I won my class and 5th overall out of 114 riders.

After a DNF at round 2 of the NEOC Series I pulled off a class win at Round 3. The race was held at Ormond Farms in Millville NJ and mostly sand trail. I had a great start and kept on it to the end beating over 30 riders in my class and taking a 6th overall out of 130 plus riders! I also managed a top ten finish in the pit bike class taking 8th out of 20 plus riders. A great weekend and looking forward to round 4 in the rocks of New York.
